H.E. Malek Al Malek is a prominent leader in the UAE’s economic and urban development landscape. 

With a career spanning more than two decades, H.E. Malek Al Malek is a key contributor to Dubai’s economic growth, urban transformation, and innovation agenda, bringing strategic cross-sector leadership focused on long-term value creation, sustainable progress, and the development of integrated ecosystems that enhance the Emirate’s global competitiveness. 

He currently serves as Director General of the Dubai Development Authority, where he leads regulatory, planning, and development functions that shape Dubai’s economic competitiveness, urban development, and business-friendly regulatory environment that reinforces the City’s position as a global hub for business, talent, and innovation.

He also serves as Group Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Holding Asset Management, where he drives the growth of the UAE’s business and tourism sectors through the development of specialized economic districts, landmark retail destinations, and integrated residential communities.
